C3 Friends,
It's been almost 2 years since I submitted this post. I thought that some may be interested with what has happened since then.
Since that time, I have put 441 miles on the CE. It has 895 total miles and runs great since it's getting some use rather than sitting. When I got it in September of '07 it had been driven 54 miles in 10 years, and ran terribly. Premium gas, fuel injector cleaner, and some miles have made a huge difference. I have struck the happy medium of enjoying it a little bit, while also preserving it's low mileage. The car also received an NCRS Top Flight designation in May of 2008.
The next big dilemma is whether to cross the 1,000 mile mark. I am leaning toward doing it. My view is, even if I put 200 miles a year on the car, when it's 40 years old (13 years from now) it will still have only about 3,500 total miles. It seems to be a good compromise.
Joe

Way to go, Joe! Ithink the only way to properly enjoy a car is to DRIVE IT! But saying this, in a case like yours, I would also limit the miles. Have fun and wow 'em at the shows!

Joe, glad you're enjoying the car - no matter how many or how few miles you put on it!!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

I'm sure you're doing the right thing Joe. You're probably spoiled by the overall performance of the Z06 anyway Tongue. (AHH, if we could all only have those options Wink).
