Man...are times getting tough or what?
It's killing me to do this but I had to put the 'Vette up for sale. Wow, I can't believe I just wrote that. I had big dreams for my '81 but with things going the way they are, I really have no choice. I'm a weakly, bi-weekly paid Sp.Ed. teacher and the only paycheck in my family. I've got 2 young boys, a wife I'm putting through college, and a mom who passed away in January (which is still bothering me) that I have to pay a $98,000 death tax, yes DEATH TAX for. Gas prices, heating oil, groceries, etc. etc. etc... just trying to keep my head above water...

I just listed her on ebay so I thought I'd share.
I know there are a lot of people in the world a lot who are a lot worse off than I am, and I'm trying to stay optimistic... but man, this it tough.

George, I'm very sorry that things aren't going well for you at this time. I see that you were smart to list your Vette with a Reserve Price Limit. You were wise to do that. I hope that you get a high amount for the car. Hopefully there is some light at the end of the tunnel.......good luck, Larry

I know this can be hard. I hope things get better for you and maybe another Vette down the road. Good luck. my7T1 2008-04-25 10:59:33
Hang in there man....but, if times are tough might I suggest you spend the money you get from the Vette on your family instead of your 70/68? Camaro....just a suggestion, and i'm a little confused.
You say your a spl. ed. teacher
You say you have a body shop
You say you have a 70 Camaro
You say you have a 68 Camaro conv.
I see your a power seller on ebay.....?
If i'm being a hard butt please let me know but as I get into my old age I seem to be getting very suspicious of folks that contradict themselves.
Maybe the forum needs to look into unpaid trial members using the forum to sell stuff....Just a suggestion from old hardbutt.
