i got a part from these guys for my 79. told them my year and what i needed and told them specificly make sure its not from a 77. i got the part and it was the wrong one. on the part they wrote 79 but clearly you can see it was written over 77. i called them and they said send it back i guess its wrong and we dont have it for 79. i wish they told me that in the first place now i have to pay for the shipping back and theyll probly screw me for the 20% restocking fee.

I'd suggest calling them back again and ask for a return authorization number written on a preposted shipping container that they are to send to you. After all you told them specifically to send a part for a '79. It's their screwup and they already know how much it cost to send the wrong part to you so its return shouldn't be coming out of your pocket.
