Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Over the weekend, I hit a milestone in my '74. I have now officially doubled the miles on the car since when I got it!
When I went looking for a 74, I wanted one with less than 50K. I never dreamed I'd get one with less than 10K! But when I drove my car off the lot (I bought it from a Corvette specialty dealer in Atlanta, GA), the odometer showed only 8,944. I've got fairly good documentation to support that number, although, can any of us ever be sure?
Anyway, on Sunday, on our way home from a great getaway weekend, the car turned over 17,888! Before we got home, the clock showed over 18,000 miles.
When I first got it, I worried that I might not drive it as much to try to keep the mileage low, but I wanted a Corvette so I could DRIVE IT!!!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

My '74 had 43,000 when I bought it in '97...it's got a bit over 46,000 on it now...'bout time tuh change the erl in it now...
am we supposed to drive em or sumpthin?!?

The PO of mine had it for eight years and put 5K miles on it.
I drove 6200 miles in 15 days a few weeks ago.
In three years I've put over 21K miles on her. Got 110,000 on the odo right now.
Will do another 2-3K this season before we shut down for the winter.
Can ya tell I like to drive it?
