Even though I drive to work most of the time (weather permitting, of course), I still look forward to this day every year (which happens to be 2 days before "her" birthday).  Tongue Hopefully, I get to wave to other Vetteheads. Hug

WX is about 100 today with even higher heat index.  So what??!!  Tops off and go for it. phew

Have a great one all!

Well I did drive the Pacer today and even got my muffler fixed for free Clap  A local merchant came into the P.O. I save him $3.00 and he tack welded my muffler back in place for nothing.  I'm looking forward to the drive home Thumbs Up cilrah2009-06-26 14:09:13

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
The car's been in the shop getting the exhaust re-done.  They didn't have it done yesterday, but called early this morning to say it was done.  Being a slow day, I took a long lunch and went and got it and drove it back to work.

Didn't see a single other Vette on the road from any generation.

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
