Thanks Chris, I'll check it out an let y'all know how it looks. It looks like it will be this weekend before I can see it. I e-mailed the seller for directions on how to get there an a few other ???Tuxblacray 2007-03-21 03:11:47
No prob, be interested in how you get on. Apart from making a mess fresh water can't do an awful lot of damage (unlike salt water) if not let too long. Even the electrics and computer shouldn't have suffered as fresh water doesn't conduct low voltage electricity so no shorts. Engines survive being internally swamped no trouble (just ask any rabid jet ski owner like myself) so long as you drain them out dry them off. It's a nice lookin car and if I was close I would certainly be interested !
Just not too sure about the dollars they're wanting tho...

I made an appointment with the guy to look at it Saturday. I was headed to a Swap Meet and this is on the way so no loss.
Hmmmnn Dave not a bad idea... a rod... maybe that is what could be in store for this. My buddy has a spare stroker motor in his garage that would be a nice addition. Kewl.... Well let's see how it goes Saturday 1st!

The salvage title laws vary from state to state. Here in SC if the
Title is stamped "salvage" the vehicle cannot be registered and tagged
for street use. If it is stamped "salvage rebuildable" it can be used
on the street after an extensive inspection by the DMV. You must have
receipts to prove what parts were replaced and what procedures were
used during the rebuild.
