Don't laugh, but does anyone out there think they can explain how to adjust my windshield wiper where I can understand it?

It's off a little bit and won't quite go under the door when it closes. It's the right Passenger side wiper.

There are adjustment slots where the transmission rods connect to the back of the wiper motor. There is quite a bit of adjustment there.

Never a dumb question here Micki. This is how we learn together. I had the same problem.

Boy was I relieved to find out this was about windsheild wipers. When I saw the title and who the poster was I got real skeered! Good Luck Micki!!!

BUSTED!!! My conscience got the best of me Mick. The last thing I wanna do is have the wrath of the Redhead on me................
I've done everything from messing with the adjustment screw on the wiper arm to completely removing it and rotating it one or two teeth on the mounting post. However, and this has no explanation - if I wait until the wipers are on a down (toward closure) cycle to hit the off switch, it closes correctly every time!
Oh - another thing - I found that you need to be making wiper arm adjustments while driving 70 mph. I set mine while stationary, but didn'y account for the extra wind deflection at 70 mph which pushes them off the glass!
