[QUOTE=Adams' Apple] Finally! After 5 minutes, I could see the last pic you posted...
I don't think there's anything attached to that elbow there. I'm thinking that is the full time fresh air intake for the astro vent system. I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me. The wire mesh grills at either end of the wiper plenum would keep trash/leaves out of it for the most part.
I'll keep looking a the other pics....btw...smaller pics would certainly help us po folks on dial-up!

just messin wit ya!
astrovent pic- Is that plastic, or metal? Looks like it could be repaired if you can't find another one.
innerbracket pic- hmmm....don't know about that one.
innerbracket2- ditto...not a clue on those...

get out of the stone age and get rid of the dial-up!!!
as for mesh grilles.. I cant find them in the wiper section.. anyone know which page in the AIM?
the broken piece ont he astro vent is plastic
it is very brittle and really just needs to be replaced.
the other one looks like it will break at anytime.. if I cant find one , I may just try to fabricate from aluminum
the inner bracket pictures are both the same item. the first picture show the bracket by itself the 2nd one shows how it lines up with the outer bracket.
this is definitely a corvette part.. but I cant find it in any of the catalogs.

I've seen the actual measurements in one of the catalogs(Mid Am, maybe?), but I don't have one handy...

The notch measures 4-1/2 inches from the top of the plastic seat back. My 69 is an early 69.

do you have a bracket inside the carpet on the lower inside of your floor pan at the rear...
the inner bracket above had the seat belt routed thorugh it
