Oh yes, I would also put in electric head light motors. See mcspeed.com and click on killer lights. I have them and they work every time and very fast. Much easier to do with the radiator out of the way.

It's a good thing you mentioned the heater core. I forgot I had one sitting on the shelf. The air is already out, it was a mess. I am planning on replacing that with an updated version. As far as the electronic motors for the headlights, I have been very fortunate that mine have always worked perfectly (knocking on wood as I type). The previous owner did replace quite a bit of the vacuum components...but like alot that he did, he didn't quite finish the job. He never replaced the hoses. He also let his kid install an aftermarket stereo...did I say install? Haphazardly through in, is a little more accurate. dads2 2009-08-13 19:55:04
I've really got to learn to not trust my typing or spelling when I post "through"? Sorry, throw...yes there are many more typos. Ooops
OK, I spent the weekend cleaning and painting the engine compartment. Electrical contacts are cleaned and some wires repaired. New wire looms to make things nice and neat are installed. My 12 yr old daughter is going to help me with the new vacuum lines. oh, lets not forget the cup holder.
