Vette(s): 1975 L-48, 4 speed, side pipes, currantly and continually under repair.
Build Date: June 16, 1975
It's been a very difficult year for me. Illness in my family has taken up much of my time and has prevented me from participating in a lot of events. Unknown to many of you here I visit this site 3-4 times a day to lift my spirits and to keep abreast of all the activity. I want to thank Adam for all he's been doing and when my life gets back to normal I hope I can contribute more to the C3VR.
O'YEA, My vette, I will spare you all the gory details but two months ago I detonated my differential and it's been in the shop ever since. I bought another unit from a guy in Jersey and had it rebuilt by a local mechanic who works on vettes. I picked it up tonight and man what a difference. Can't wait to spar with Adam again on 422. anyway, I got a whole lot of other things done to the rear while the mechanic was working on her and I am ready to do some cross country cruisin.
I Can't wait to hook up with you guys soon. I will keep checking in every day to keep my spirits up and hope that all you guys and gals keep up the good work here at the C3VR.

Joe, know how you felt being "Vette-less" as "The Toy" was up on jack stands for most of the summer until I could afford to buy the parts to rebuild the rear brakes. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a few more sunny days to enjoy driving before the snows fly (and stay!) and I have to make the trip to the winter storage spot.
Also hope all is well with the family now.

Thanks Chris,
I hope all is well with your Family.
Norsky, I cashed in 2 weeks vacation to pay for the repairs.
It was well worth it, My car runs like brand new. I will be storing it this weekend, got in a couple of days driving it,
and will begin prepping for a new paint job and fix some odds and ends.
