I am finally learning a few things working on this C3. When I look back at the questions I posted 6 months ago, they look kind of silly. They sure didn't at the time. Thanks to all who have taken the time to educate me in a lot of different areas of electric, brakes, engine, cooling, wiring, interior, etc. I am almost done with this 1979 silver on oyster L82, 59,343 miles. I have replaced almost everything inside, and everything works, including the clock. It is almost a jewel, and will be in about a month. I don't know it all, and what I can't do, I wisely leave it up to the C3 wrench down in Pompano Beach.

Amen to that! Before I started here asking questions I had effectively zero knowledge...Today I had to replace an alternator...once a day at the shop...today? 20 minutes in the rain!
Thanks Everyone!
