So I had a small exhaust leak. Decided to put some headers on and after reading all the topics I choose Sanderson headers.
Called down there and the fellow ask all the right questions and I thought we knew what we were doing. get the rectangle port headers in 3 days. Painted them and then found out for them to work we would have to re-route the plug wires. That wasnt ok with me. So we called and no problem, they will send me another design right away. That took 3 weeks.
Finally got the different design and they came with round ports. What the heck? So they say to just bevel the sides out a bit and they should work fine. If we arent happy with them we can send them back but they wouldnt have the rectangle port headers for 2 more weeks.
Got them on, slightly modified and I must admit the car sounds GREAT. I would even say its a bit faster but I maybe dreaming as I hadnt had the car for a month.
I did have a great drive today and am way glad to have her home again.
I knew you would all understand!
Anyway

Larry, got in it Monday afternoon and just drove. Ended up in Westport. Had a ice cream cone and drove home.
