After many years of looking at how bad the e gaps looked in my t-top alignment I decided the best way to fix them was to take them off and store them behind the seats for the summer

not only is the fit perfect but I don’t see the scratches it the paint either

It may look a bit strange, but I keep the driver's side T-top off because it's too hard for me to get in and out with it in place.  I have to slide my butt in first, then the rest of me.  I'm not as flexible as I once was. . .

I couldn't help smiling when I saw this post first time around.  Oh to be in a position to leave the T-tops at home, at any time of the year!    It may have been possible 20 years ago, when we moved here to France, but as the weather has got more unpredictable there's no way we could risk that!😱    I remember we got caught in a freak shower many years ago, thankfully with the t-tops in the car, but we still got soaked to the skin putting them back on the car as fast as we could!πŸ˜„

There is also the possibility of a breakdown....  I'd want to be able to secure the car......

That's one of the reasons I got a convertible - much easier for a 6'2" guy to get in and out of πŸ˜‰

I did some adjusting on my 71 when I got it last fall they are much better but not perfect. Need them on a lot in Michigan.

I replaced the rubber seals on my T-tops.  It was a bit of a pain, but now they are (almost) water tight.
