It's been since tranksgiving day and last week they started in on my 82 CE. Not sure if I told you all or not but they found a mint front clip in NY. Well they sent the whole car (81) and said use what they needed. The car is not wrecked as a matter of fact it runs and runs good. The onlt thing that concerns me is the hood. The body man said they can split the underside and use that for my air induction. I can see that it is possiable.I had a set back last thrus. I went to take my little gril to school and I has a sizure (sp) She called 911 and I really don't remember anything except voices, don't know if they were talking to me or not. Don't remember the ride to the hosp.My Dr. thinks it was caused by my change in medicine. I was taking Vicodin and Lyrcia. He Changed me to Oxicotin and Soma. This is for my chrinic back pain. I didn't think to tell him about my accident and my head busting the windshield. So I'm still a little leary. At the hosp. they did a catscan that showed something so they did an MRI. That came back ok. Anyway I wanted to let you all know that I'm still alive and my Vette is comming along(no frame damage)With the front clip off I can see NO gage rot of ant kind and my front body mount looks new, no dry rot or deteriation.Wink

Hey Gator,
Sorry to hear about your seizure. Glad to hear that the MRI came back ok.
Hang in there and be careful with those pain meds! They can be like a double edged sword sometimes.
AND, it's good to hear that you're seeing progress on the CE.

All I can say is I'm glad your allright! Kdaddy's right be careful with the meds they really got a a way of sucking you in. They never really worked for me anyways all they do is make it hard to poo! LOL I caught some shrapnel to my head/ear in 2005, man I couldn't get enough morphine for that one Big%20smile  I had a head shaped like a football for about two weeks LOL Came back to the states and the doctor here tried to switch me over to motrin and I just about kicked hiss ass.
It takes some time to heal up though so be patient, you'll be good to go before ya know it  Thumbs%20Up

I'm very aware of the meds. My doctor is going to put me on the patch within the next month or so. It's that or an operation. My sister had the samething and she finally took her own life because she just couldn't live with the pain anymore. I begged her to see a different dr. Her dr had her on Vicodin 10/650 but that type of med is short term and she woud not go to a different dr. or even ask her dr for something stronger.
79rebuild: man taking sharpnel in the head, wow you were lucky. was it an IED? Then telling you to take motrin is like rubbing salt into your wounds.Gcotors now day are so afraid to treat people for pain because pres Nixon started the DEA and they want to pratice medicine so If you don't go to a pain specialist you are pretty much out of luck. I've been going through this for 3 yrs now with no  end in site. Good luck to ya.I hate to hear stuff like that because there is no reason for people to suffer. Thats not a good quality of life. I hope my problen is the switch of medication and not the accident.

Well it did hit me in the head so no worries there LOL You can't even tell the difference, I actually think it beat some sense in me(finally). Your right though, doctors are either too lose and give it out like candy or too scared to give out anything at all. I tell you what though I got a lot of respect for sugeons those guys really know their stuff. I've been worked on a few times and I always come out pretty good.
