I let the oil drain for a couple days noticing it was very thick. Probably 30 weight for break in. I heated up some 10-30, pre-filled a new filter and filled her up. Took some effort to fire but noticed that the new Edelbrok Q jet's accelerator pump provided no fuel. Ok, makes sense as to why its hard to start when cold and has a small hesitation. I think the fuel is draining back out as well. The MSD distrib was loose as were the coils little wire nuts. Even the oil drain plug was just a smidge tighter than hand tight. Man, I need to go over the entire car when it warms up! I did drive her maybe 4 miles dodging ice and snow. Check it out in full HD stereo here:

The exhaust is flow master. I have no idea which mufflers the PO chose but they rumble pretty good.
I found that the accelerator pump is non functional (new Edelbrok Q jet replacement)...did I already say that? The chokes fast idle is not dialed in either....so ya I will get that addressed and probably re-jet for my 4800 foot altitude.
Ummm....the flatty is a 49 8-BA. Was gonna go in my 30 Model A sedan until I realized it would cost around 8K to make 200 hp. So I yanked the Polysphere out of my 66 Charger parts car and stuck that 600 lb behemoth in her instead. 375 HP for like $3800 and that includes ported heads with stainless seats, a custom cam, scatt crank, 10:1 modified pistons and vintage Weiand intake. The 57 is getting black block under the engine on the stand way back there. 412 SBC. Should make 500+ hp with a tunnel RAM, AFR heads, 11:1 CR....blah blah blah...
