Well things did not go as planned this spring. I did install the Dewitt radiator and dual electric fans but I did not get to stripping and painting the Vette. I have been working way to many hours which I guess is a good thing but not enough time to work on the car. I finnally decided to put off the paint and just drive. So today I drove the Vette to work, a little over 70miles round trip. Happy to say the car ran great and the new rad and 100amp alternator worked just fine. Most of the drive is Expressway ansd this mornings drive was in the low 70's so the fans never even came on.
I love when new things work like that.

Vette(s): White '79 Corvette. It's a driver.

Hey Redwing,

Glad you got it out on the road!

Many times I have put off working on my Vette so I can just drive it. Someday it'll all catch up to me but until then I just gotta drive!

How much cooler does your Vette run now with the DeWitts installed?

Kevin
