Side to side near the trans crossmember. Never a problem...

I bought 2-8ft-6x6, cut them in half. Measure 18-20 inch, cut your angle. Nail pieces of thin rubber on square bottom, so ramps don't slide. Works for oil changes,cleaning, or detailing. It's resonable and easy to put away. I also use these on my C-4, but you have to back on. I also use a 2x6 on top of my floor jack if I use stands. Dick
