Vette(s): Early 77, L48, 4-speed manual transmission. Trim plate-code ZJ1: Costumer interior two-tone (blue / white)
My resto book is saying, that the chassis part number and the date was painted white or yellow.

Is there a way to find out which color it was on an early 77?

Regards from Hungary

I think white was most common for the St. Louis plant, but don't know for sure what the circumstances were for the use of the pale yellow. Most likely just due to using what was available at the time.

Just have to find the vettes with the VIN before and after yours and see what they have on theirs.
