Gonna try today, pre-recorded message gave time and said 7 days a week, hope it is still avaiable. I dropped the rusted fuel tank last night and the build sheet was gone, just an out-line of where it had been, oh well, hope the "free" info is still available.

I called the numbers advertised in this forum, and it worked. The nice lady Amber took the info and "ask for the VIN and miles. Said it would be here in 3 to 4 weeks. She named some of the stuff included, though general, sounded cool. I wondered if the VIN and Miles had more to do with GM's internal tracking data, imagine tracking your 30+ year old product. Interesting the possiblities.

Just got off the phone at 6:30 PM, they said 2-3 weeks.Very nice woman was very helpful,knew exactly what I wanted.The odd thing was I asked her if she want my VIN # she said no she had it,then read it to me.

I ordered mine last week. I talked to the lady for quit a while. I geuss I could get one for my silverado too, but I'm gonna wait till I see what I get on the vette. She said 3-4 weeks for delivery.
Anything to help a fellow vette owner with their vettes,right?

I called yesterday and talked to Tina. Wanted to know year, milage and VIN. The VIN didn't register on her computer.
Said it should take 3-4 weeks and gave me a service call log number just in case it didn't.

okay just to let people know, that this is still a live thing, unless I am the last person on this site to do this, called them this morning, very easy to do said 4-6 weeks. I can wait....
