I have been booted from this site at least 5 times this morning. Is anyone else having this problem? I keep getting that annoying "this program has performed an illegal operation and will now be shut down" then bang..I get booted. Does anyone know what is happening?

I dont think it is the connection. We have a direct server and our own provider. I was wondering because it hasnt happened in the past. It may be a temporary glitch at least I hope.

Nope. I haven't gotten booted either. If they installed a firewall, doesn't that mean that he wouldn't be able to reach it at all? I don't know though. I like to think I know computers, but I really don't.
Maybe it was just a little gliche like you said, computers are known to have a mind of their own.

I haven't gotten booted, but I have had problems getting to the site the last couple a days. Have got the message, Connection refused. I try a few times then I would get on. I have a T1 so it isn't my ISP.

No, same system, I have had some trouble accessing the site in the last several days too. When I go to the site, I get a black background, but when I log in it changes to my set preference. So is it the system or just a glitch?

If you connect and then get dropped due to an "illegal operation", close down your computer using the start button ( bottom left of the screen ) and do a complete shut down. Then boot back up. Usually an illegal operation from a program that ususally runs means there is some conflict in memory. If you shut down and restart, you will clear your computers memory. if you are using another piece of software in the back-ground, you may be having a conflict with it. Try just running your browser ( IE5 ) by itself with nothing else open for a while and see if you keep getting illegal operation. As with any other facet of computer operation....I wish you good luck cause there just ain't no rhyme or reason for why they do what they do.

I have had a problem sometimes getting to the site because it was unavailable. This was in the last week or so. The error you are talking about "this program has performed an illegal operation and will now be shut down" Is the inability of your browser (or other app you have running) and your Operating system (Windows) to handle an error that occurred. It may have been the site going down while you were in it. It could also be related to memory or about a 1000 other things.

Nope, I dont have any other programs running. I just got booted again twice just now. It seems as soon as I go to Forums, boot. If I got to another section first I dont have the problem. Which I what I done this time.
