Yesterday was a glorious day for a cruise.
I was supposed to go cross county skiing, but when only two of us showed up, we decided to cancel and do other things.

It was sunny, forecast to be 55 degrees and the roads were dry.
Man, am I glad I decided to keep my Vette in my garage this winter!
I took the cover off, unplugged the battery tender and fired her up.

It was a beautiful day to cruise the Finger Lakes.
I stopped at the local ski resort to see if I could get a pic of my Vette with snow in the background. The parking lot was so full, I had to park on the road.
But it still looks pretty good.

The next stop was the south end of Keuka Lake. The picture doesn't do justice to the view.

BTW, that is not a TV antenna on my roof. It is a tribute to Glenn Curtiss, the father of Naval Aviation. He developed planes to land and take off of water on this lake. There is a museum in the area that tells the history.

Hope everyone have a pleasant day.

Nice cruising country, Dave.  Love the car!

We actually had a beautiful day here in Michigan, and after a couple days of rain, all the salt was gone. Guess where WE went? For a couple hour run to blow out the cobwebs - in my tee shirt, yet. I was having too much fun to remember to take pictures  It's back on the lift again, for we are supposed to have lows of about 17F in a couple days, so "spring break" is over.  I guess it beats some of the weather this week elsewhere in the country.

From 10 feet away you would swear they are air brush, but they are actually custom designed decals from a place here in town. I wanted something patriotic that would distinguish mine from all the other red C3s.
Glad you like them.

Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
It got up to 81 degrees here in southeastern NC today. My wife had gone shopping so I decided to take mine out for a spin also. It looks like I'm gonna have to get that fan shroud sooner than I had expected. The temp  was running about 215 degrees but I must admit I was calling on all 500 horses at times.
