So had to go to Wenatchee for my State Disability Council meeting and figure it would be very nice and figure I was in need of some Corvette chambered exhaust theraphy, so i took the vert. Leaving today I got about 6 miles out of town and my temp
gauge was higher than I have ever been, well maybe not,
so I turn into a station and then I notice water on the windshield and figure this is not normal. Back into a spot, get ready to open hood and look for the damaged hoses, and we had no radiator cap
. Thank God, I was able to contact someone from the meeting that was passing by, got lift to parts house bought cap, coolant, and wetter water for go measure, after all I used Dee-Dee's card
. Ran just fine the whole trip, besides that little snafu. About 450 miles round trip, in 90 plus weather over 2 mountain passes in a 38 year old Corvette. Very GOOD THERAPHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow sounds like a geat adventure Larry
So where do you suspose that darn radiator cap got off to
They normally don't just run away from home. It was so georgous here in Lacey today that I made Pam go for a cruise after dinner, I even talked her into letting me take the T-Tops off. It was like a summer day, hope everyone in the NW enjoyed it cause it could be snowing by next weekend

So Larry what happened to the old radiator cap?
I've only done a few short trips around town lately. Need to do another long one. Do have one coming up at the end of the month. Took the boat out for the first time this season today. Towed Lianne and her girl friends around on the tube. Daniel had to go to Spokane with the high school band and march in the Lilac parade. So he missed out.
