Getting ready to do my tranny also. just ordered service and overhaul manuels so i can get a jist of what i am getting myself into. some say it's a piece of cake. I got an estimate from a local mechanic around 600 to 800.00, my guess it will be 900.00, so as a Poor Man's vette owner I will have to attempt it myself. I will be replacing clutch, pressure plate and throughout bearing.
i have my car stored in a garage in Limerick.
Plenty of room to work.
Should I attempt this myself or just fork over the cash to the mechanic.
