Vette at home
Got the vette to its new home today. Quite the adventure.
The RH window doesnt go up and it started raining after about an hour so we pulled over. About 15 min later I go to start it and, nothing. I got it towed (on a flatbed) the rest of the way.
Once it was here I tried it again and it started right up.
Looks like I need a starter heat shield.
The important thing is... I got it!

I TOLD you that driving a car you had never seen was risky (although I did it, too!)! Glad you got it home safely. At least you know your first couple of projects! Good luck!

Id actually seen it before and gave it a short test drive. I just wasnt sure how it would do on a long haul. Figured the best way to find out was to just do itSmile

Well, like I said, at least you know your first couple of projects. Getting the window up is a big priority, as well as making sure it starts. Make sure you check out the tires as they are probably old and needing replacement! Hope all goes well with this one! Remember, the Gathering is in SC in may! Get it done!
