I finnaly got a new pump and pulley and my hard steeringis gone. I also am testing a new photo.

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.

It's nice to get the right parts. sometimes you can't win for losing. No matter what you do, it all turns to crap... Glad to hear you got the steering fixed. Probably made a lot of difference. |smile|

Does it have a power steering pump? If so, it may have air in the lines. If it is power assist, did you replace the gearbox too?
