Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
But because of the dream I had last night...it may be time to sell my Pride and Joy!
It's the first time I've ever had a dream about wrecking her! It was very graphic, and I sat up in bed in a cold sweat. Granted, I wasn't hurt in the dream, but she was hurt bad! It was very disturbing.
It might be time to move on...and get something that can carry more than just me and momma, mostly just me!
Any thoughts? Am I crazy? Superstitious? Downright stupid?

Maybe it was something you saw on TV that stuck in your subconscious mind and came on
in your dream..That will be $45.00 Please..

Referring to the pioneering work of the esteemed Sigmund Freud on the subject of dream interpretation, I believe that Dr. Joyce Brothers...or was it Dr. Phil?--addressed this very topic fairly recently: "C3 Psychosis; are my t-tops trying to tell me something?"
The clear meaning of your dream is not that YOU wrecked your Corvette--quite the opposite, in fact. Someone ELSE was responsible. Perhaps your mother. Or your father. Or your sister/brother/cousin who once said something mean to you and damaged your self esteem.
The point is: what the dream is REALLY trying to tell you is that, IF your Corvette SHOULD ever get destroyed, it will of course be someone else's fault. After all, that is the modern American way, as any psychiatrist worth his or her couch would confirm.
Then you could sue the very pants off them--refer to the groundbreaking work of any decent trial attorney on this subject--and win enough not only to replace your C3, but also to score a couple more (you always wanted a matched set of fully-restored chrome bumper cars anyway, right?)--plus a C6 Z06, just to fill out the garage in your new 15,000 square foot home that the insurance company settlement bought for you.
There. Don't you feel all better now?
(Only kidding, of course. I'm sure it just goes to show how much you love that '79. Just like the rest of us looney tunes on this site. So don't even think a minute more about selling it....'cause if you do, you may end up really having something to go into mental therapy for down the road!)

Every time I have a dream about Shania Twain, I know for a FACT that it's not going to come true.
