I've seen replacement headlamps for the C4 Corvette that have plastic lenses instead of glass.  Does anyone know if these are available for C3s as well?

I think what you're referring to is a headlamp conversion kit. It is a stock looking lamp but actually has a replaceable H3 or H4 high intensity bulb. I've seen them with plastic lenses and glass lenses...the glass run considerably more.

They are available in the sizes needed for a four headlight system like our C3's have. You can find them from JC Whitney, maybe even Summit Racing or Jeg's.

Do a web search and you should be able to come up with sources to find them at the best price.
