Hey Jeremy,
I live in Monmouth County. I am also starting to shop for a place to have my paint redone. I plan on getting in touch with a local, reputable corvette restoration shop called Corvette Paramedics. They're located in Cherry Hill.
If you're interested to see how good we could do in a two-fer, send me a PM and we can make plans to solicit them together.
If you have any luck in the interim, please let me know if you wouldn't mind and I'll do the same.
Thanks either way and good luck.

Have NO clue at all about local shops....BUT you should have beed making the rounds of the local Saturday night Cruise Ins etc all summer looking at paint jobs and asking who painted the car etc...
Do you have a Local Corvette Club...? if so...go to a meeting even as a guest and ask..
I have had 4 Corvettes painted and all were done to show quality standards and I was going to say the Shop I used (Mikes auto body right down the mountain from Camp David in Maryland)...is NOT cheap...
But after seeng your quote for 15,000 I now have to say that Mike paints real CHEAP.... lol
Seriously Mike has done dozens of Bloomington cars and all of mine ran
between 4 and 6 grand each...for show quality work... Gheeze 15 grand... still shaking my head

Hi Jeremy,
I have a 69 fathom green coupe. I live in central Jersey (Milltown). I had my vette repainted a year and a half ago by Bellmawr Collision. They did an absolutely awesome job. I get lots of complments at shows and cruises. This shop is off of exit 3 on the NJ turnpike. I realize it's a hike. It was a hike for me and you are further north. It took Bruce about 4 months to do my car. I had stress cracks everywhere and the back had been hit and poorly repaired. We also replaced the rear clip. Bruce worked on my car in between his insurance jobs. I had two requirements, I wanted a nice job not a fast job and I wanted the car back in time for Carlisle. The car looked great and I had it for Carlisle.
This Sunday 10/9 the Woodbridge Corvette Club is having a show at the Route 18 Market in East Brunswick, behind the Sam's club. I am planning to be there if you want to see the paint job. It's a judged Corvette show and a separate hot rod show all rolled into one event. Rain date is 10/16.
If you want, you can email me at Riddj@optonline.net
Good luck in your quest. I know this is nerve racking, as this is an expensive task that you want to do once and do it right. I interviewed several shops over the course of a year before I started. Don't rush yourself, make sure you are satisfied with the shop and scope of work before you start.
