Dave, Once again I'm jealous. You went to the beach. I went to my mother in laws. I am going to remind you and thank you though. A little over a year ago you said you would give up $10 bucks to join this site. All that someone had to do was give a good pitch and promote the cause. Meet TUXBLACRAY, I'm your guy. Thanks so much for the 1st perminant go round. Now I'm a Gold Memeber and hope to do the same for someone else.
Enjoy your warm weather my friend while us Northerners take the hit for the rest of the country. Thanks for your previous generosity. I hope that I will get a chance to repay the favor as well!

us jersey people experience all sorts of different weather, even from each other. When rogue wave down in keyport gets rain at this time of year I get snow up here in sussex usually lots of it. Warbird might get a mix of both, since he is in the middle of us. There is about a 10 degree temp difference. Though the vett is ready to roll at any given time. If the sun shines long enough and the ice melts I could be tempted for a quick spin.

TUXBLACRAY;

   Im glad that the offer worked out so well, you have encouraged me to contact Adam and do it again, thank you!

   I didnt make it to the beach, instead went alittle Mountain Climbing with my Vette, boy, does it corner nice!  Those twisty curvey mountain climbs just were too much fun to pass up, and no traffic that way.  God I love California!

Ours are now officially put away, since the snow has come and salt on the roads with it. but I keep one of ours picture on my comp's moniter , switch them every few days, maybe someday  I'll get a picture of both or learn to cut and paste better. my bike's stored between them also.

I was very tempted today to take her out for a ride . Luckily, It took me longer to decorate the outside of the house than I had planned for. Otherwise, I'd be re-prepping her all over again . Besides, I would have taken a ride up by Sussex, (JacksL71 stomping grounds) it's a great area for cruising, but it looked like it was either raining, going to rain, or snowing up there so I wussed out

Aegisfang, didn't you guys get a couple of inch's of snow already ? The Lake effect dumps quite a bit on you guys

I'm with my fellow Kiwi - CEEDEE, on this one. Looking forward to many hot sunny days with the roof off. I've only driven mine about 5 times this year. I only hope my work on the heater and heat insulation will pay off.

Last year I put mine in a storage garage down the street and couldn't see it for 5 months. That was rough.
This year she is staying in my two-car garage so I can work on some things.
But now it is very tempting to take her for a ride on nice days like today. Can't believe it is almost December and it feels balmy. Saw a convertible go by with the top down. Of course, the windows we up.

I look at it as a long maintenance period  Great time to get some stuff done. And, for you people in the South and California
