Today I finished modifying and rebuilding a set of ramps for the vette and hired a flat bed to help me place it on them. Tight fit but he got it on there for me.

I called 4 tow companies and went out to one of them to measure his truck to see which one would fit in the gate. I pulled the car out of the yard, had him place it on the truck, go into the street unload the car and then reload it so it would face the correct way on the ramps.
The ramp before cross bracing, leveling, and final adjustments. I used all deck screws, no nails or glue. Everything is braced like a bridge.
Backing up the truck facing the right way. I can't rotate this pic.
Up and loaded. I did block all 4 wheels for safety later.
Now I will work on finishing all the wiring, plumbing, exhaust, and getting it running. I have a dinner bet with Grams that it will be running by Sept. 30. Hopefully by next year paint and interior will finish the project. I'm getting tired of tripping over parts in my house.
See you next week in Ft. Wayne In. sans corvette but with woman, Mazda, and heathen son.

Very interesting - looks very sturdy. Hope you get it soon!

I purchased a canopy last week and will put it up next week when all of these storms go away.

Don't forget the tube lighting so you can see everything.
Should be a fun summer.
