It looks great!  You are correct about the passenger mirror.  It did not come with it.  Also. I see the aftermarket radio.  Maybe he still has the original. I wish mine was so clean!

She's a sweetheart!! Looks really nice. I'd have to assume it has had some resto work done, unless it has spent it's entire life under covers, in a garage. The pass side mirror is dealer installed.
One thing I did notice that you will need to address is the lack of the foam "air dam/seal" that should be across the top of the radiator support, that seals it to the hood. You will definitely need this in Texas, if you plan on driving it during the summer here!!
I agree that you prolly paid the right price for the car....congrats!!
Welcome to C3VR!!

1st off - CONGRATS!  Man that is saaweeeet! On the retail scale, its a fair deal. If it brings you lots of joy, its a bargain.  CV Mikes is a very reputable dealer.

My word of advice to anyone getting into the old car world
A) Be prepared to spend money the day you get the car. There will be 3 types of work, 1) Work you just want to do (maybe new mats, etc etc), 2) Work that you see that you have to do (they all need something), 3) Work that is not caught but you'll find out in 1-6 months of using it (leaky calipers, they all leak).  Just don't be discouraged if anything comes up!  Every once in a while we ger lucky and theres no out of pocket.

I put 2500.00 in my car day 1 and another 10k over the next 3 years and my car was clean when I got it.

NOW - We have a 1 question entance exam.

Q) Where is the safest place to park your car
A1) With a valet?
A2) In front of your families house with someone watching it
A3) In a lot at least 6 cars away from any other car?

Answer is if you picked 1, 2 or 3 you must relinquish the car!!!!  We never park out  cars anywhere!!  LOL!!  ENJOY AND WELCOME!!!!!

Matt,
Congrats on what appears to be a super clean car.
Even if you find some little things wrong during the first six months, you will still be so happy, you won't care.
If it is something major, like the engine or tranny, you will say "It's over 36 years old, time for a new motor and tranny."

Enjoy your new toy.
