Mike, I have the "Pocket Spec Book" for '68-'82, and also the "Birthday" Book. Of course, neither is totally infallible, but the spec book is very detailed, and gives a lot more info than the "Black Book", such as decoding casting dates, trim tags, etc.
The Pocket Spec Book is pretty much a "must have" for anyone doing the swap-meet boogie...
