Well, I have made the decision to do a frame off restore of my 80 vette...
It will still be a custom vette, but as least I will know that it will last another 28 years or more and I can pass it on to my kids as my dad passed it on to me
So you will see me posting a lot or questions and looking for help.. They say I can't do this in a two car garage and I am out to prove them wrong!!
I am looking for a web site to post all my pics and overall project. If anyone knows of a good site to do this on please let me know..
I had my last drive, the wheels are off and the battery is out.... Here we go!!

I give you a lot of credit, that's a big job. Lots of luck with it. At least it will keep you off the streets
. You should let us know where abouts you're located, you may get some helping hands when needed.

May the Corvette Gods have mercy on your soul. I plead with them daily to ease up just a little so things will go better. Keep Tylenol at the tool box along with a first aid kit and lots of beverages.
Good luck and don't be afraid to ask for help or info. DB

I am in Tampa Florida.. and thanks I figured if i did it to a 69 camaro when I was 16, I can to it to a 80 vette..
That is awesome Joe. Its something I would love to be able to do, but don't have the courage. Many here have done it so you have plenty of resources. As far as picture sites, Photobucket is good or this is a sample of Cardomain, and part of my paint project. Geterdone Bro.

I use Photobucket, have about 10 albums with tons of pictures in each.
Have fun

GOOD LUCK JOE, i LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU.
Good luck Joe, I'll be doing a body on resto about the same time on my red 80,so we may need to exchange phone numbers.
Speaking of red....I recall you saying if it was up to you you would change color to red.................

If your garage has some height to get the shell out of your way when your on frame and chassis you'll have lot of room. I figure you will need a plastic wrapped stall just for painting parts.
So on vette it!
