Just a random thought while masking...
Since I am spending much more time under the hood...OK, no hood...in the engine compartment than actually driving the car, wouldn't it be wise of me to locate a cup holder for under the hood?

I have heard that blondes work well in this application. They dont realize what they are there for, Just remember not to get one that is too well endowed or you may forget what you are there for,,good luck, let me know how it turns out,,rd

Brilliant! And they still make the kind that hangs off the door
, it could work. Although, that other suggestion sounds very stimulating, at least 'til the wife meets the new blond "cupholder"
.

Do they sell them in Pep Boys??
Now of course you have to consider the options for 16 or 32 ounce sizes and a double cup holder if your buddies are helpin out!!

OK get one of those foam rubber insulated covers for beer cans and install a large suction cup on the bottom and there you have a portable cup holder that can be mounted on the fender .

If that's the best you can do at 32oz's.........geeez. I always say "Go large or go home."

So, I spent part of the day making more than a cup holder. I brought the keg cooler next to the car and ran a line into the engine compartment. Got the lines mixed up a couple of times and drank some radiator fluid and fuel, but no worries....
