Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Ok, so I went through some of the catalogs and ordered some repro decals and such.  One that I got is white with red lettering, about 1 1/2 inch wide and it says: CAUTION Never use to set idle See Service manual for adjustments"

Great, glad to have it - but now I need to ask - "Where does it GO?!?!?"

Thanks!  It is part 0636 Decal, Idle Caution, from Corvette America.  Says it is for 69-82.

Thanks guys.  Feel free to get a laugh on me out of this one!

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

It goes on the spark control solenoid. Mounted at the front of the carburetor with a plunger that kicks up the idle.
