Topic: I wish to complain about Ecklers

Hi Guys and Girls
I wish to complain about Ecklers, every time I place an order with them they get it right, I have tried to use other suppliers but everytime I check the prices Ecklers comes out on top, most of the other sites will not let you see the shipping costs until you place the order but Ecklers does, I have also tried using other companies but each time Ecklers price seems to be the best.
One time I ordered some parts on a Saturday then after working on the Vette discovered I needed some more parts and placed that order on the Sunday, as they were two seperate orders it was going to cost me extra in shipping so I sent Ecklers an E mail and asked if it could all be put on one order to save me some money and you wouldn't believe what they did, the put it all on one order and only charged me for one lot of shipping, I mean how can I complain when they keep getting it right, I also had to return one part as I discovered I didn't need it and those people even got the refund correct.
As I said I wish to complain about Ecklers but they keep doing it right.

You should see how accommodating they are when you physically visit their store, too. Nothing to complain about here, either.

I find their catalog prices to be one of the highest. Service is first class.

You were lucky I tried Corvette America once (and that was enough) the whole process was nothing but problems from start to finish and trying to get my core refund money took 3 months, and I only got it then because I rang them almost every day.
I agree it’s good to use suppliers that are close but their service was so bad I will never use them again especially as there are many others supplying the same parts.
I am also sure not everyone has had problems with them but I can only speak as I find, which is why I would recommend ECKLERS.
I too have had good experiences with them. I did however get a little frustrated with them when i went to the reunion this year. The lines inside the show room were long . I was purchasing the chrome louvre vents for my 69 and the girl at the counter was clueless as to what should accompany the sale. Mounting nuts and screws. I had to make two trips back to get the items and then aftrwards i found out there was a kit with both that would have saved me 20 bucks. So i went back and got them. I still havent returned the individual ones I bought.I don`t believe there would be a problem though.
I didn`t find that mid -america has as good a catalog of parts .
