Topic: I won !
in Forum: C3 General Discussion
Yesterday for the first time, I attended a Corvette Car show/Charity fund raiser. The Natural Glass Corvette Assoc. were the organizers, it was great I've been to a couple of Cruise Nights (mixed cars) where Vettes are usually outnumbered 10 to 1, but this was 90% Vette's
They judged cars by category, C-1, C-2's etc. Muscle cars, Peoples Choice etc. Anyway, here I am being called up for winning 2ND place, man was I shocked ! There were a lot of nicer cars than mine, how I won is beyond me.
Don't get me wrong, I think my car is nice, (I waxed the crap out of it) but there were some really nice one's there. Now I have a 2 foot trophy to make up for all the frustrations I've had. It's a great feeling and just wanted to share.

Way to go... Congrats...! Makes it all worthwhile doesn't it...

Here is a real winner!
A blonde goes into a resturant and , buys a coffee a sits down to drinking it.she looks on the side of her cup and finds a peel off prize.
She pull off the tab and yells, "I WON! I WON! I WON a motor home; I WON a motor home!"
The waitress runs over and says, "That's impossible. The biggest prize given away was a mini van!"
The blonde replies, "No. I WON A motor home, I WON a motor home!"
By this time the manager makes his way over to the table and says, "You couldn't possibly have won a motor homes because we didn't have that as a prize!"
Again the blonde says, "No, no istake, I WON a motor home, I WON a motor home!"
The blonde hands the prize ticket to the manager and he reads, "WIN A BAGEL."
