Okay it is still BBBRRRR cold outside an it's more fun to jaw with y'all when I can so here is anudder topic ta ponder on whilst a lookin outside....
If ya could change 1 thang about yer vette what would it be? Me? My coupe would become a vert. Yep after buyin the 01 vert I'm hooked. It's the best thang since sliced bread. Somethin a coverin my haid when I get caught in da rain an nuttin over my head when da sun is out in full force.
Besides it would be ever so rare ta have a 76 vert...

good question, thinkin off the top of the head, it would be the wiper door. vacumn system with one that looks, or i would change the color back to orginal, the rare laguana grey, don't know why
As much as I like about the looks of my 73, one thing would not be enough. I would like to add FI, give it a better suspension system, and a paint job with glass T-tops.Redwingvette 2007-02-18 07:39:45

Well Tux, I'm changin' one thing today! It's in the 20's here (I know, a heat wave for you Yankees) but down here, that comes with a wind chill in the single digits out of the north.
I'm headed out to the barn to put the 80 up in the air and get 4 new meats today, hopefully before the Daytona 500 starts up.
BF Goodrich T/A Radials all the way around.
The wife told me yesterday that I needed to figure out what I wanted for my birthday later this month and I said new shoes for the vette. She said OK. Now, I'm smart enough to not ask twice, so I did my due diligence and found a set turnkey for $364.50. I'm gonna check to see how old they are, but barring any issues there, I'll have new shoes to try out for our first EOCC run next weekend.
Thanks, baby!

There is not much I would attempt to improve but the steering worries me sometimes at high speeds, especially if the road is rough. I wonder about steeroids ?
