I hate to to harp on about living in Florida, But Friday I took my 77 out and gave her a good bath and and then took a long cruise  in the sun with the tops off and left at home, what a ride. Sorry,

No street for me, If I had a chance to cruise anywhere in the world with my 78 Indy Pace Car ................. It would have to be round the Indianaoplis Motor Speedway, I'd give up a chance to drive anywhere in the world for one lap round the track Thumbs%20Up

Hum, as far as i am concerned, anywhere in the USA is fine for me...

tonight during dinner, I was watching lawn mower racing and said to myself... "Its great to live in America!"

But if I really had to pick, it would be through Arizona

On the Big Island of Hawaii there's a "highway" that circles the island, about 270 miles total around. The south portion from Hilo to Kona is great, mountain on one side and lava fields and ocean on the other. Little traffic until you get near Kona and very smooth pavement. I must have driven it 50 times, every time wishing my Vette wasn't still stored back near ChicagoCry. Not really practical, tho! The drive from California to Hawaii is kinda troublesome!

Also, Interstate 90(yes, interstate)through the western side of Montana in  the mountains. Fantastic.   Mike

1000% agreement there.  Have driven that stretch many times and still marvel at its beauty.  And when you get to Missoula turn right heading north into the Flathead Lake valley (Polson to Glacier National Park).  Then go into the west side of Glacier National Park and take the 'Going to the Sun Road' to the east side of the park.

Add on to that trek a ride from Calgary through Banff and Lake Louise to Jasper in Alberta.  The "Ice Fields Parkway" will absolutely take your breath away.  From the top of the tram at Jasper is an incredible view of the Canadian Rockies.

Check the next National Corvette Caravan scheduled to get folks to the NCM's 15th anniversary in 2009.  For the 50th NCC in 2003 the MN/WI/IA/IL/IN caravans gathered at "The Brickyard".  850+ Vettes got to take a parade lap.  35 mph max but it was way Cool anyway...!!!

Transport all your Vettes to Victoria in Australia during YOUR winter months and cruise the Great Ocean Road.  One of the best winding scenic ocean roads in the world.

I'm thinking of bringing mine to Europe, maybe the countryside in Italy or France.

There is a senic drive here in Central Oregon, Mckenzie Senic Highway, just west of Sisters.  It is an absolutely beatiful drive on winding roads, thru lava flows and  rainforests.  The views are truly amazing.  It is a drive you will always remember.  Summertime with the tops off, makes the drive even better!

South Texas "Hill Country" has some killer roads for criuzin...no/little traffic, except fer da occasional deer...up/downhills & twisties galore! At the right time of year, it's really nice.

Any drive in a Vette is the best...
