Thank you, Thank you all
Too make a long story short. I restored this vette to a rolling chasis, completely stock, except the bigblock motor. Then I started hanging out at a local drag strip. I was blown away . I thought I already have the horsepower why not build a strip car. Anyway I took a sawzall and cut the car in half. Welded a new crossmember in, put a narrowed dana 60 and 4 link suspension, with 16" wide slicks. I got the body back on and pretty much got to the interior and gave up. This car was a work bench/conversation piece for about 5 years.
Then last summer I took it to a car show to try to sell it. I had alot of interest, but when people looked in the car and saw the ground, they would always say it was too much work to finish the tub work. So my wife told me to finish the tub work and try again next summer.
I have now finished all the tub work and added all digital gauges, remote shaved door handles, and alot of the interior is done. Pretty much I just need to buy seats and thats the last major purchase left.
My wife should have never told me to finsh the tub work cause I have no intentions of selling it now and it will be on the street next summer.
