I am going to buy a repair manual or whatever you guys think would be the best to get that explains everything wiring, interior, engine, drive train, etc etc. Where should I look and what should I buy. I need guidance. Maybe then I won't have to bother you guys so much, but don't bet on it ha ha. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

One manual covers ALL of the above...the Factory Service Manual. You can find them on ebay, or usually from one of our Sponsoring Vendors here.
You might also want to get the AIM(Assembly Instruction Manual) for your car. It details how the car is assembled at the factory.
These two books are the #1 purchases a new Corvette owner should have. And...we don't consider it "bothering" anyone....we're here to help.

One of the best resources is the Assembly Instruction Manual (AIM) for your model year. Most of the Corvette parts outlets have them as well as eBay.

Just checked on ebay and they have a few choices for the AIM.
Keep asking questions, the folks on this site are the best. No snarky or snide remarks, just good, old fashioned help.
Except for me, I'm a little lost most of the time...yes Joel, I said "little"

Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
The first is the GM manual. I did not ask the question you asked when I first got mine and I'm the proud owner of three worthless repair and maintenance manuals for C3 corvettes. So worthless I will not even try to sell them to someone else
