Vette(s): Vette #1: 1979 White, with upgraded ZZ4 engine w/ overdrive. New suspension and steeroids. Overall, the only thing still 79 is the frame, body, and some interior. Vette #2: 2011 Grand Sport, won from National Corvette Museum.
Has anyone used or know someone who uses Classic Automobile Insurance Agency (provided by Great American Insurance Companies).

I am getting ready to send the money to get it, but I want to make sure they are legit. I don't want a company that would not pay up if it was needed. I have a good insurance company now, but they will not pay the actual value of the car. This company will pay it, and will allow me to still be a Sunday driver.

It wouldn't be worth it to change companies if they would be a hassle when needed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jon

I'm not familiar with that company, but I have collector car insurance with Hagerty, $175/year on 20,000 agreed value, no deductable. Be careful with ANY collector car insurance companies however, know what is in the policy and the EXCLUSIONS or LIMITATIONS. A poor fellow on a different corvette forum just had a recently restored like new 68 stolen from an un-attended parking lot, NO COVERAGE. These cars are often worth more as parts then they are in one piece and few are recovered. The un-attended parking lot exclusion was very clearly listed in the policy. They all have exclusions and limitations, make sure the policy will fit your needs.
