Looking at the Quickjack system.   Will they work with the 1979 C3? Both the 5K and 7K?

I don't see why not.  Maybe a Quick call to Quick Jack to confirm. 😎

Absolutely!  I bought a Quick Jack for use on our '78 a couple of years ago and its the best thing I ever did!  I just wish i had bought it 5 years earlier!

I went for the 5k version, more than capable of handling a C3.👍

Do you need to have any additional pads that are special for the vette?

web site states level floor to 3 degrees slope.  Anyone try anything more than that?  Reason is that my driveway is between 3-5, depending on where i put it.  Of course garage is always full of my other stuff, parts, and projects.

just checking and waiting for the next best deal.  Should have done Black Friday, but was still doing research.

was looking at the 7k version for my other vehicles: pickup and SUV.

thanks for  the info!

I have the smallest one, that I bought about 2019, and it works great with my '77.

I used on mine and loved it, did the brakes and other stuff underneath and no issues. My 79 has headers and that didn't affect usage...

The Quick Jack comes with rubber blocks in two sizes, one thicker than the other.  I found I needed the thicker blocks, or the chassis crossmember rests on the jack frame.

Not sure I'd want to use it on a slope really.
