A buddy just called me & asked if I'm taking the vette to work tomorrow. He said it's "take your vette to work" day. If the weather looks clear, I'm all for it. Anyone else heard about this or actually doing it ??

Or if I worked...I've heard it is though.

It is the last Friday of june every year. Not sure when it started but it has to do with the 30th being the Vettes birthday.

I've done it for the last 4 years. Sad to say I don't see too many more on the road this day. There should be so many that you have a sore wrist from waving by the end of the day.

Sure wish I could have taken mine!
But in St. Louis Co., in the Great State of Missouri, we have emissions testing....needless to say after putting a nice street cam and Holley Street Avenger on the baby she won't pass.
I have sent off for my Historic Plates "no emmisions required" but do not expect to have them for 4 more weeks!
Hopefully should have her ready to go for the Mid-America Vettefest in Sept.
Hope to see some of you all there.
