Yup - this is a great forum. I read it often, post to it occasionally, and am glad to own a C-3 (which led to owning a C-4, and then another C-4 - but that is a different story). So as I read through this I see there is another Shane, who also owns red 1979 C3. I guess there is a virus going around!
These are great cars and loads of fun. I can truly say that half the fun for me is working on the old girl. No @#$%@ computers, no EFI, no Antilock this and that. It has all the essentials for a fine motoring experience - Chevy V-8, 4 big tires, and a roof that comes off.
C3VR is great because of the members! Keep it up.
C3: 1979 Corvette Coupe, Auto, L-48, Red/Doeskin (my wife's fave);
C4s: 1986 C4 coupe (SCCA road race car), satin black, 4+3, Z51 package, L-98; & 1993 C4 coupe, white, 6-speed, LT-1.

Nice to have another 82 on board! I will warn you though, Corvettes are worse than drugs! Enjoy!
Phillip,
Congrats on getting the '82 and finding C3VR.
It is one of the greatest Corvette-related values you will ever find.
No matter what problem you come up with, someone here has already found a solution and will be more than happy to share it with you.
So find an appropriate subject forum and ask away.
As you have already noticed, you need to watch out for ebo. He is the "strange" one in our family.
I'll be out your way in July, on my way to Bend, OR, so don't be surprised if I stop by to see that Nova.

You got that right about this forum - a GREAT bunch of people that you will not find anywhere else on the net - I've tried! Be warned though, other forums are not like this one - You will not find Vette people this respectful, helpful and friendly elsewhere!!
I see you are from AZ - check out http://www.arizonacorvetteenthusiasts.net We have members all over the state and most there are good people!
