Topic: It is the fault of C3VR

So we do the deal, I put new tires on it so it was safe to drive. Check the brakes, the steering, fill it up with gas and found out how big the tank was

Then I found this site...I was always told Corvette owners were snooty and uppity, didn't work on their own cars and looked down on everyone else. I found just the opposite here. Good people with nice attitudes, helpful advice and really good looking C3's

So the Corvette will not be sold unless some financial disaster occurs. It will share the garage with my other hot rod and I will continue to enjoy coming here and learning while helping.
I attended many GM Training Center classes during my 40 years as an ASE certified GM tech and the one thing they always told me at the beginning of every class "what you learn in this class will cover all GM vehicles across the board except Cadillac and Corvette". My employer didn't have Corvette's or Cadillac's in the fleet so those classes were not available to me. Some of it is true but a lot of the system are the same, now I am learning of the differences that make these C3's not only unique but fun to own.
Thanks to all of you that have made me feel welcome in your online community.
Here is a shot of my toybox. The 77 Nova has 450 horse small block with a TKO 600, 4 wheel disc brakes and a killer suspension hiding under that mild mannered exterior; and hopefully this year will be the year the garage will finally have some interior walls

Hey Philip,
Glad you have seen the light! I really began to enjoy owning my Corvette more when I joined up here. It seems like alot of good folks own C3s. Trading info. on them is one thing that never gets old.

the Nova was started on as soon as the garage was completed and came out for it's first drive only 6 weeks ago. 4 years of work and many changes along the way. I made it into a luxury hot rod by adding PW,PDL, Pwr seats, electric trunk release and remote entry. it also has factory air, fast can also be comfortable, I learned that from owning C3.
As soon as it gets a fuel pump on it that will deliver all the motor wants it will be time for some test and tune to get a time slip. I wanted a low 12 second street car and hopefully it is.
