I finished the brakes on my C3 today, the carb rebuild is done, still needs some tune work, plugs etc. I put the new tires on. Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 255/60-15 white letters.
And then.....
I DROVE IT!
Granted there are no lights in it yet. Hand signals are legal. I took it a couple of blocks and put some gas in the tank. Took it around a few more blocks and back home.
That's the first time it hit the road in over 6 years!
It still has no paint, and I have a long way to go before it's sutiable for casual driving. BUT I DROVE IT!
Very good day. Very encouraging.
