Phil, that's a great story and I agree with you and everyoneWink... The last thing I fixed (tach drive on my '72) took a couple of trys and in-between the trys some weeks waiting for the parts to arrive.  While driving it this weekend I still got that sense of great satisfaction every time I looked down at the tachometer and saw the needle rock slid on the RPM the engine was runningSmile.

Your right....I just installed a new Back up switch and mounting assy. on our 68 4sp.The PO had removed it and had  hooked it up to a rocker switch under the dash.It felt good to Fix It Right and a few times if the wife is outside when I put it in reverse I ask her to look and she gives me the Thumbs%20Up
