Under the for what it's worth column....I ordered a pr. of vortec iron heads from Jegs on Monday 2/19/07,10 AM.They had best price over Summit by $20.00.Heads arrived here in Orlando on 2/21/07,at 10 AM.That is great del'v. service in my eyes.It gets better...freight from Ohio to Orlando was $10.00, no gimmicks.

I've used Jeg's and Summit Racing with no complaints about either. Each has some better prices over the other. Each carries some stuff the other doesn't. Service from both is excellent.
Whenever either of their catalogs shows up in the mail I'm very happy...what a wish book they each have!

Summit has a part I've been waiting for.............it's been 3 weeks now!! It would be on "back order...!!!."
Has anyone ordered something from them that was on back order?

About two years ago I ordered a part from Summit that wasn't in stock. I received a notice of expected delivery which was fine with me. In fact, if I remember correctly, it showed a bit before its expected date of delivery.
As I said before...I've never had any problems of any kind with either Jeg's or Summit Racing.

Two weeks ago my son was in Ohio and called me while he was at the Jegs store and wanted to know what I wanted, I told him a crate engine, I got a Jegs T-shirt

Summit is super fast on processing orders and shipping out, Jegs is a little slower, but both offer great stuff and good customer service
Summits backorders..... they keep mailing little postcard to keep informed of the stauts, and as already stated, parts usually show up before the estimated date...
either company, you cant go wrong....
