Topic: Just an Update

- This past month I spent the hottest 3 weeks of July in my garage tearing out my interior carpet and dash to insulate and re-carpet .

Welcome back! I always notice other forum member's that have '69's.
Did you have your seat belts restored when ya had all that taken out to insulate and recarpet?
[/QUOTE]Mick, I have some POS aftermarket seat belts now. I looked for replacements but they are about $700-$800 and take about 6-8 months to get from Paragon. I found a place called Andover Companies that makes Corvette look-a-likes for under $300 and this includes the shoulder belt as well, so I bought them. I will install them soon.
Ray, I used a product called Reflectix from Lowes. Pretty inexpensive and worked well. Problem is one 24" roll is about just a liitle short.
Here aresome pics of the install.
Norsky, just signed up for the Funfest today, so I should be over there just for Saturday. The Effingham inn keepers get a little greedy around Funfest time, and I'm a cheapskate!!
Good to see you on here Charlie !
I went over to Pats last night for a mini tech day. Set the timing and dwell on the 71 and chated a while. Joe and I just got back from Mid America with a few new shinys for the Vettes. It would be nice to get more of the guys on here since this is a C3 forum.
Hope you can make the DARE show in Edwardsville. We are bringing out the 71 and the 77 .
